[Termina, Alternate World]

She accepts the offered arm, taking it, eyes roaming unendingly over the sights of the city. "Not much actually," she admits with a carefree laugh. "It's been a while since I got some time to myself."

Taking a step away from the bar, she runs her free hand through her hair. "You know, I hate being a star."

[Termina, Alternate World]

Glenn is dumbfounded. "Really? I thought being a star would be a dream come true? I mean, it would be the ultimate life. Wow, so the truth comes out. Why do you hate it so much?" He seems to be genuinely interested. Listening to her instead of staring at her. Yet this last statement of hers has really startled him.

[Fossil Valley, Alternate World]

Kid glares at Ozzie for his remark about Lucca. "That...bastard..." she growls, one eye twitching in anger. "How dare ya say such things 'bout Lucca-chan! Lucca's 10x the person ya ever were, that's fer damn sure!" she retorts, turning away from everyone and crossing her arms very angrily.

[Termina, Alternate World]

Miki's eyes grow slightly distant.

"Think about it. I'm always traveling, always moving around. There's never time for me to attach myself to any person or place. I'm always in the public eye, so I can't do anything outrageous without being watched. I'm also always recognized, which doesn't give me too much hope of sneaking away." She smiles. "I guess I got lucky this time."

Turning to look at him, she studies him. "You're really lucky, you know that? You have freedom, power...you can go where you want and it'll always be fine. I can't...fame is a worse chain than anything else. At least, others have their freedom."

Looking down at the ground, she continues. "I love to sing...I love to dance...but I hate this life." She looks up. "I would quit, but...." she trails off.

Nikki, she thinks.

[Termina, Alternate World]

"Does this mean you can't pull a rabbit out of your hat?" Karsh asks. "And sorry about dragging you off, but Glenn's like a little brother to me, and I've gotta make sure he gets a girl worthy of him. You know what I'm saying, right?"

[Fossil Valley, Alternate World]

"I don't know, but I'm not going to be the one to tell Flea 'No' about this dragon!"

"Magus, at the rate mystics age, I'd be dead before the year seven hundred if I didn't get sent to this miserable era. Lavos wasn't even going to destroy the planet untill... what, the year 1999? And it's because of THEM that the most powerful man in the world is not a mystic, but a human!" Ozzie calmly glares back.

He looks to Kid. "LUCCA NEARLY KILLED ME, MY TWO BEST FRIENDS, AND THE MAN I THINK OF AS A SON! DON'T GO TELLING ME HOW RITIOUS LUCCA IS!" Ozzie shouts back.

[Termina, Alternate World]

Suddenly, from down the street where Glenn and Karsh's houses are, comes a girl in a pink dress. She runs swiftly and then leaps into the air, giving Glenn a big hug. "GLENNY!" Marcy shouts.

"Hey! That's... that's... MIKI!" Marcy quickly jumps off Glenn and jumps up and down in front of Miki. Her speach is so fast that it's nearly incoherent. "It's, like, really you, Miki! Here! Like, in Person! You're so cool! I'm gonna, like, be just like you when I grow up, only Luccia says I'm not allowed to, like, dress like you, but I don't care, because you're, like, the coolest person and I'm gonna be a dancer when I'm not fighting and I can, like, sing, too, and hey! Are you on a date with Glenny?!?!?!?" she says, noticing that nobody else is around.

[Termina, Alternate World]

"Ugh... She's going to mess things up," Karsh mumbles to Guile, looking out the window. "I just know it..."

[Termina, Alternate World]

Miki sighs to herself as the girl promptly manages to prove every single point that she had been talking about. Pasting a bright smile on her face, she leaned low. "Yes, I'm Miki," she says, offering her hand to the little girl to shake. "Thank you for your compliments, sweetheart. What's your name?" she asks.

Straightening, she chuckles at the girl's last question. "Does it look like it?" she asks back. Glancing at Glenn, she grins devilishly. "I guess we are on a date. Is that okay with you, Glenn?"

[Fossil Valley, Alternate World]

"Then I'm SURE ya deserved whatever ya got!"

Kid continues to twitch angrily while turned away from the group. She mumbles something about ugly green complections making her sick to her stomach. "We need to get movin' again." she states between klenched teeth.

[Termina, Alternate World]

"I'm Marcy!" she says to Miki. "Yeah! Glenny's on a date with Miki! Wait a second..." She frowns for a moment, then laughs it off with a "Whatever," to herself. "Oh, well. He's eleven years older than me anyway. Umm.. Miki, can I, like, have your autograph?"

[Fossil Valley, Alternate World]

"Right, whatever." Ozzie mutters. "I've got a princess to find."

[Termina, Alternate World]

Keep up the act, Miki thinks to herself. She chuckles as the girl, Marcy, asks for her autograph - like any other fan. "Of course you can," she says. Finding a piece of paper (she always kept a few on her for these instances), she quickly wrote "Dear Marcy, Keep on singing, dancing and dreaming! Love, Miki," and hands it to the little girl.

Observing Marcy, Miki suddenly frowns. She looks a bit like...Nikki? Shaking it off, she decides, I'll ask him about it later...if I can find him....

[Termina, Alternate World]

Glenn blushes again. 'Yes! I mean uh..Yeah, I guess it's alright." he grins "So where would you like to go?" He gives Marcy a look, still grinning, eyebrows up.

[Fossil Valley, Alternate World]

Magus sighs and turns, starting to get the gist of Ozzie's plan. He walks out of the mountain range and towards Termina.

[Termina, Alternate World]

Miki laughs at his response. "I don't know. Like I said before, I don't really know this town. Where would you suggest?"

[Termina, Alternate World]

"Rabbits are not quite my forte. And I understand completely." Guile orders a drink and sips at it. "I seem to be meeting a lot of famous people today." he mused to himself.

[Fossil Valley, Alternate World]

"F... Flea? What's Viperrr Manorrr, and why arrre we going therrre? It sounds like such a scarrry place!" Draggy's tail twitches nervously, but maintains his calm, happy, colorful, smiley face.

[Termina, Alternate World]

"Then lets take a look at the vendors. They always have something interesting this time of year." He takes her hand and leads her to te portrait painter and pays him to draw her portrait. He keeps his eye out as a nosy Marcy tags along behind.

[Termina, Alternate World]

Miki studies the completed portrait before breaking out in one of her dazzling smiles. "It's great. Thank you," she says to the painter. "But now, you gotta do him." She winks and points to Glenn, then tosses the painter some money.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Serge squirms a bit in his chair to get into a more comfortable position. He sighed, failing this attempt. It seemed as if Lynx was asleep. Serge smirked at this, and tried to slide out from under the bindings, considering all the wriggling he had done earlier had loosened them.

Serge jerked one last time and one of the chair handles came off. Serge kept in a triumphant laugh for fear of being noticed by Lynx. He stood up and slid the ropes off his body, and looked around. He had no idea where he was, where his gear was, nor what to do next. Well, it was to find out where he was, where his gear was, and what to do next. Basically, Serge knew he was screwed. But he at least had to try.

He decided to search the room first. He looked in a cupboard, and found his swallow and other gear. He then dashed out of the room as quietly as possible. Serge looked down the long hallway he had entered. Where to next?

[Fossil Valley, Alternate World]

Kid looks over at Flea and the little dragon, overhearing the conversation unfolding. "Pssh, Viper Manor ain't nothin' fer a dragon like you, lil one. If any mate gets in yer way ya can just barbeque his arse!" she replies with a wink. "Right?"

Kid turns to everyone, her arms crossed while tapping one foot on the ground, "Van, Leena, we really gotta get our arses in gear. Serge needs us and we ain't exactly bein' all that prompt to rescue him." She turns to the band of newcomers as well. "We've gotta get to Viper Manor before nightfall, ya still with us er not?"

[Termina, Alternate World]

Glenn lets the painter paint his portrait and holds it up to him afterwards. "What do you think?"

He laughs and thanks the painter then they head portrait in hand to the fortune teller. Glenn's mind is spinning this is too much to be true. Subconsciously he was waiting for the other foot to drop though.

[Termina, Alternate World]

Looking at Glenn's portrait, she frowns, then smirks. "It's a great piece of art. But I'd say the real thing looks better."

Arriving at the fortune telling stand, Miki blinked as she saw what appeared to be simply a pair of yellow eyes hovering in midair in darkness. Suddenly, the short person poofed to life in front of them.

"Who might you be? Fortunes be good, fortunes be bad...anything from reading the future to searching for the missing, do you want your fortune to be read?"

Miki smiled in amusement, then nodded.

"Who would like a reading?"

Turning to Glenn, the strawberry-haired dancer nudges Glenn. "You go first, then I'll go."

[Termina, Alternate World]

"YEAH!" Marcy shouts, and quickly runs off with the autograph towards Karsh's house.
