"That isn't necessarily true, sir." Riddel raises her strange violet eyes to glance at the blue-haired lad and slowly shakes her head. "Maybe it's just that you don't know what will truly make you happy. You believe it to be a life with this Leena, but maybe it is something more."

She falls silent, then, and turns her head in order to watch the exchange between Ozzie and Harle.

"Thanks..." Korcha quickly devours the healing item and stands up as his body is cured. He pulls out his lure and glares at the enemy. "Okay..." He held out his hand and quickly used an element, blasting a beam of water at the Black Moamoa.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Janus raises an eyebrow at Ozzie and then rolls his eyes discreetly at Riddel. "Ozzie, this is your princess? Why is she dressed like a common circus clown?"

[Viper Manor Bluffs, Alternate World]

Kid backs away slowly, leaving the black innate creature to Korcha and the others. "Bloody strong lookin' bugger he is." she comments.

She grins mischeviously at the blue innate creature that is standing nearby. "Time to finish this. Yer all mine." She pulls out her dagger, delivering a series of intense blows to its chest area. Panting a bit, she decides to jump back and await the counterattack.

It comes at her rather quickly. She manages to read such a large creature's movements ahead of time and avoid all but one of the blows from its counterattack. Her upper leg now trickles with a small stream of blood but she does not let this affect her performance.

Thinking fast, she calls upon a Fireball attack followed by the more intense MagmaBomb technique. She then jumps back into a defensive position and watches the creature fall backwards and completely disappear before her eyes. "That's that." she sighs.

She plops down on the spot in order to briefly rest her newly injured leg. She keeps a close eye on Korcha as he proceeds to take on the last of the three creatures. "Hey, pointy ears (Slash), why don't ya help him out a little? Ya look like a powerful little bugger, 'ey mate? Hey, washed up-lookin' magician guy (Guile), you too!" she yells in their direction.

Slash dashes towards the black innate and begins a furious series of cuts at the creature with his sword.

Korcha takes a turn out to defend now. His stamina had plummited to negative seven, and he needed to restore his levels before trying another attack.

Harle looked about, thinking quickly, then she decided nasty was best. "Imbecile," she snarled. "Who do you think you are?" She started to laugh.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Serge looked at Riddel, and it took him all of two seconds to attatch to her legs and rub his cheek against her thigh. "Nice lady," he said all too happily. "Nice, pretty lady. I'm going to take you home with me. Yeah, you're nice." Serge stroked her knee cap. "Nice lady, nice, see guys? WHY CAN'T WE ALL BE LIKE HER?!" Serge continued petting poor Riddel.

"Er, I...." Riddel, absolutely dumbfounded by the blue-haired lad's behavior, blushes darkly and stares down at him. After making a concious effort to compose herself, she gently reaches down and pats the boy on the head. "It's alright, sir. I-I'm sure that you're just under a great deal of stress. I'm sure that things will return back to normal very soon. Beyond that, I'm afraid that I cannot go home with you. My place is here in Viper Manor with my father."

Magus frowns. "Serge get up!"

He turns to Ozzie. "Alright. Explain this before I start to get angry"

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"I am a servant of the king," Ozzie says to Harle. Then, he turns to look at Magus. "Miss Harle... Would you allow us to take this conversation to a more secluded area? The long-haired one is a friend of mine, but that woman and the boy need not know of what I must speak to you about..."

Magus raises his eyebrow at Ozzie. "Curiouser and curiouser..."

[Viper Manor Bluffs, Alternate World]

Kid sits back watching Slash and Korcha slowly fight the last of the three creatures, the large black innate. She is still recovering her energy from her recent defeat of the second creature. "How's about wrappin' this fight up sometime this century, eh mates? Some of us've got things we'd like to do inside the manor, plus I sorta wanna see that mate Serge again."

Slash smiled as he cut the beast in half. "That fast enough for you, girl?"

[Viper Manor Bluffs, Alternate World]

Kid claps a few times and grins like a happy child. "Yeah, now THAT'S how it's done!" she remarks to Slash as she begins to stand and brush off her clothing.

She quickly leaps onto the wall which surrounds the small cement overlook to the bluffs. "Now I'm gonna get movin' and see if those other mates made it into the Manor already er not. If any of ya er comin' with me, c'mon." she says as she disappears over the the other side.

Luccia, who had been sitting by idle as they'd fought the black innate, knowing that she wouldn't be ofmuch use, hurried to follow after Kid. She didn't relish being left behind, and she had a feeling she'd be important once they were in the manor - of course, she supposed she *could* be wrong on that account.

"Vait up, Kid, I'm am koming vith you."

Slash jumped onto the wall beside Kid and began crawling with her. "I am coming."

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Harle blinks. "Oui, monsieur." She kept her gaze on the stranger, careful that he not make any sudden movements, lest he try something.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Serge blinks at Magus. "NO! See, if you were all just a little bit nicer to me...I wouldn't...be...such a sap!" Serge sniffles. "You're all so mean to me!" Serge stands and hoists Riddel over his shoulder. "I'm keeping her."

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"O-oh my..." Riddel blinks at her new position over the blue-haired boy's shoulder and silently casts a questioning glance to his companions. Not sure of what to do, she lies very still but also keeps a spell on the tip of her tongue should she need it. "Is it really so bad, sir? These people don't seem that awful.."

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"Please, miss Harle. Take the Magus and I to a place where we can speak in silence. The boy is very annoying..." Ozzie mutters.

[Viper Manor Bluffs, Alternate World]

"Hey!" Korcha shouted as Kid and the others climbed up. "Don't leave me behind!" Korcha huffed a bit, but then decided it would be better to wait by his boat.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Kid makes her way quickly and quietly across the grassy area, being careful to avoid each of the guards that are wandering about. "Only bloody thing nightfall gives is the element of surprise." she whispers, watching out for twigs as they reach one of the Manor walls. She presses her body up against it to avoid being spotted by a roaming searchlight.

She takes a careful peek around the corner to see how many guards are near the large main entrance. She sees three right away and sighs. "Don't s'pose that's the only way to get into the place?" she asks Luccia, seemingly annoyed at the idea of having to waste time with yet another pointless fight.

Luccia gazed at the gaurds, arching a brow and giving a small laugh, "Ho ho ho. But ve don't -need- another vay in!" She steps out of the cover of darkness, plucking a batch of leaves into her hand as she goes.

"Gaurds!" She calls, eyes large. "Ve have a problem. . . You see, one of my expirments has escaped." She took a deap breath, taking out a little badge that identified her. "I'm afraid he is a very dangerous critter and he's gone that vay!" She pointed away from her current companions.

The guards looked confused a moment, then went off running.

She turned back to the rest of the party, smiling.

Kid gives Luccia a hug like a happy little child. "You're a bloody genius, what a time saver!" she beams as they make a run for the Manor door before the guards return. She enters the building cautiously and establishes that, luckily, there are no guards in the immediate area. "Wonder what part of this place Serge 'n the other mates are in?" she wonders aloud.
