[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Kid was rather surprised by the sudden series of events that landed her on the ground. "Bloody hell..." she mumbled. She hadn't expected Glenn to jump in like that, although she did apprecitate it.

She inspected Norris' outstretched hand, and more importantly his gun, skeptically as she she debated over whether or not to accept. She was still VERY reluctant to believe that the people best affiliated with Lynx could be almost totally in the dark when it came to his true nature. After a moment, against her better judgement (but still clasping a ready dagger), she accepted.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Norris looked at the two, "No doubt this dead boy is with you as well, your entrance wasn't very quiet. If Sir Lynx doesn't know of my presence here yet, then he ASSUREDLY knows of YOUR presence." he shook his head, "I'm here on business, a young red head from Arni village named 'Leena' is looking for you, you should find her in the company of Dr. Luccia at the moment." Calmly and with confidence turning his back to the pair, still watching the pillar for a possible thrid attack, he moved to the button as he had been shown by Luccia earlier, "If you'll excuse me, I have things I need to do." Reaching behind the alabaster pillar he felt the tiny relief of the button, pressing it, the raised platform began to lower.

[S.S. Zelbess, Home World]

"You're right, Captain." Janice nods quickly in agreeance, biting her lower lip briefly as she is still rather mad at the recent events and how they have unfolded. "They're all the same when it comes to Marbule..."

She pauses to take a short calming breath. "I caught one of those people trying to question 'him' earlier, right before the match. I still think they are rather clueless, though. I'll keep an eye on the group and figure out what thier game REALLY is, somehow." she finishes, nodding in certainty and making her exit.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Glenn manages to look emberassed. "Uh sorry, just I guess all of this excitment has gotten to me you know. And well you ARE an intruder and a spy..."

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"Fool your friends to fool your enemies, Sir Glenn. I am not after Viper, not truly." he walked to the elevator's base, waiting for it to arrive. He knew he had to act quickly, Lynx would undoubtedly make his move soon, and Norris sought to be there to catch him.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Glenn looks to Kid and Serge and then sprints over to the platform.

[S.S. Zelbess, Home World]

"Watch'er back now, Janice. Argh...he's a crafty one, he could have some more cards ta'play just yet." He nodded happily before looking back to the sea. "If Nikki turns out to be involved..." He paused attempting to hide his centimentality towards what his estranged son from all, he continued, "...notify me, I'll be the one ta deal with'im ...Argh. These Lubbers won't be bringin' trouble to our doors." Nodding for her to go, he turned his attention once more back to the sea that he and his beloved Zelbess had loved so much.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Kid's face glows a dark red as she stomps her foot loudly, seeing the two about to make their way back to the upper level and Viper's office. "Now wait just a sec' you two! I'm tellin' ya now, I've got first dibs on that bloody cat man and dun ya ferget it!" she exclaims, running after them.

She turns back briefly to see whether Serge is coming with her or going back to speak with his friend and the scientist in the lab instead. She could always track down Serge again later but she had worked hard to get a chance to take a stab at Lynx and she wasn't about to waste any more time.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"I imagine..." Norris replied slowly as he looked over to the fiery blonde taking place alongside himself and Glenn, "...we have at BEST equal 'dibs' on his head, Lady Kid. He caused the death of my partner and my reputation's plummet some years ago. He's tricked my superiors countless times, I seek to ruin him, and PROVE he's a fraud." a stern look of anger taking hold in his eyes as he spoke. "Because I imagine he has a hand in your infamy as well, I'm willing to work with you in your endeavor." He lightly placed a hand to her left shoulder, "However, let us not be brash in our confrontation. No sense in dying young." Resting his hand on the pedistal beside the chair, he noticed where her gaze kept moving to, "Well, whoever is coming best move quickly."

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Leena briefly considered staying in the lab with Luccia, but decided against it. Something would be going on, and she wanted to know what it was. She left the lab and went up the stairs. Heading back to the main entrance, she saw the previously sealed door was open, and it housed stairs leading upwards. Ascending the staircase, she saw a crowd of people in the gigantic, open room. Norris and Serge among them. The lady in red claimed that she wanted the "cat-man", whoever that was, and Norris claimed that he had a share in it two. She boldly strode over to Norris. "Anything good happening?"

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Norris tried to hide his shock, whispering quietly to her, "Why did you follow? This situation is dangerous, Leena, I do not want you hurt." He said as he tried to remain calm. He wouldn't allow anyone else he knew to be hurt by Lynx. Behind his eyes it was obvious he had definate reservations about how the situation was turning out.

[Guldove, Alternate World]

Doc quietly closed his eyes as he moist seafoamed air blasted and cascaded around him. Angling his board coasting off the wave's apex...he finally felt free. Surfing, he was alone, while in the surf he felt free...to forget. A deepseated smile taking hold on his face as he seemed to lean back, almost into a fall, his arms outstretched as he spoke in a low tone, "Wish you were here..." hoping the one he had failed, heard his secret wish, as his board banked bringing its master back home, to his memory...and to Guldove.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"Don't be so protective. I know it's dangerous, and I'm still here. I can help out here. You're not going to change my mind." Leena replied.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Norris gave a silent groan in response, looking down at the granite altar's base in submission he nodded, "Fine...Leena, have it your way...though with our group growing as such there is NO truely subtle way for us to do this." shaking his head he looked around at the group. of all he saw around him, few saw subtlety as a strong point. Even the wouldbe outlaw, "Kid" was far too boistrous to think of being subtle. He laughed for a moment. "Of course I doubt any of you have any intention of being subtle..." he added, knowing young Sir Glenn would most likely try diplomacy, talking Viper out of the mess, seeing him as a father figure. Leena would POSSIBLY follow his own lead, however, Kid and this 'Serge' boy were undoubtedly wild cards to him. He still knew very little about this boy everyone seemed to be after.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Serge blinked at Norris. "Wow, well spoken." He stood by Norris. "I'll come too. This guy wants me, and I want to know why. It just bothers me. And...you scare me too, Norris." Serge inched towards Kid. He whispered "That guy's freaky..."

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Glenn frowns, "I think you have been subtle far to long, sir. Now is a time for answers, and being blunt and honest is the way to get things done."

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Kid hides a half smile. "That's some view you've got there, mate. Now, let's get movin'!" she adds with a grin, holding up her fist. "I'm gonna kick cat boy's bloody arse to the moons, just ya wait!"

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Norris laughed as he shook his head once more, "I doubt it's possible to change your minds...should we fail, I'll probably be marked a traitor." He pressed the trigger as the platform roared to life lifting them to the next floor. "But I suppose wrecklessness HAS its place." he forwned at Serge's observations of him...scary? Him...? Had he been almost any other member of Black Wind, young Miss Kid, would be dead, and no doubt the two men would have been apprehended. Mercy and fairness were virtues he shared with only a dwindling few of his compatriots, especially in the Black Wind division...and today, he saught to avange one of them.

"Just remember THIS, Sir Glenn..." he spoke calmly looking over to one of his recently acquired accomplices, "...justice is what we make of it. Even a great Hero such as General Viper would be tempted, and his vision clouded by the ambition and promise of 'power absolute' that Sir Lynx offers. If they already have the flame, then we are all lost." the note of severity returned to his face as the elevator neared its destination.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"I doubt that this Lynx has the Frozen Flame. If he is as evil as we believe him to be, then I think he would've done something with it already." Leena remarked as the elevator finished it's descent. When it lowered, Miss Kid stepped on it first, followed by herself, Serge, Norris, and Glenn in the rear. "I personally am a little curious why either Lynx or Viper wanted Guldove's Dragon Tear, and how they made off with it." "The Dragon Tear?" Kid remarked. "When Norris, Luccia, and I were up here earlier, we saw it." Leena wisely did not mention the copy that Luccia made, or where the real one was.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Kid puts her thumb to her lip and bites down on it gently as she thinks to herself, a s serious look crossing her face. "Dragon Tear....."

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Glenn frowns again. "I still don't understand much of this flame. And what is the scheme of Sir Lynx?" He broods on thier way up, still worried about the whole situation.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"The frozen flame...an artifact far more ancient than any of antiquity. Thought to have been the product of the long dead Draconian magics and reptilian peoples now long dead. It was said that it was with this powerful artifiact that man reshaped this world to his own image. In essense whoever has the flame, has the world...and the power to shape it at their will." Norris looked downward contemplatively, "But in legend all who have used the tear have also ended in great tragedy." Looking upon those who recently seemed to barge into his mission, "We still know little about what purpose Guldove's Dragon Tear is doing here, or how it is that General Viper and Sir Lynx came into its posession. Be on guard, they undoubtedly will be expecting some number of us." he warned as the elevator neared the uppermost corridor.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Kid scowls at the ground for a moment before she delivers a swift kick to their chair/elevator. "Personally, I dun care all that much 'bout what his stinkin' arse is up to now. I just gotta make him pay for before....." she trails off, lowering her head so that her bangs now cover her eyes. A clenched fist at her side seemingly trembles in anger. As the elevator reaches its destination she is the first to hop off.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Luccia sighed as even the boisterous red-head left her, and hefted the Dragon Tear in her hand. "Vell, I'd best get dis out of here, I'm certain dat dey vill be able to find me after dis ordeal is over."

A moment later she was moving quickly down the hallway, muttering hurried replies to anyone who questioned her. Soon she was outside of the manor, safely carrying the dragon's tear away.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Serge frowned at Norris. "You put things in such a dark, horrific way. Maybe if we get this tear and flame, we can do good things for people...right?"
