Karsh, meanwhile, listens in, leaning against a wall in the hallway. He decides that this doesn't seem worth listening to, so he heads down-chairs for something to do.

"What...? That's another rhetorical question. Stop asking them. I'm human. You're a demi human." Serge paused in thought, then decided to continue on. "And another thing...You're very rude. You couldn't have invited me to tea or something?" Serge asked, blinking innocently.

[Arni Village, Alternate World]

"Well, we could start out with taking your hair down, and maybe a dress." she added.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

The catman raises his hairy paw, throws it back and slashes Serge across his now bleeding face. Then he said, "FOOL! Another wise remark from you and you'll get another slash. Now try to answer this, do you know where you are?"

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Serge smirks. "Fine, we'll cut it out. I'm at...Viper Manor. Karsh dragged me here." He smiled a genuine smile. "Can you let me go?"

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

The demi human snickered at Serge's response. Then Lynx retorted, "How can that be if Viper Manor has been deserted for three years? Does this place look like no one has been here for three years?"

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Serge blinked. "I... For once, I can't come up with a smart alec response." Serge frowned. "Go on, smarty pants, tell me."

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

The catman lets out a diabolical laugh and said, "This is not your world. Ten years ago, something happened to you. It put your life on the line. You had a fifty-fifty chance of living. In this world you died, while in your world you lived. Haven't you noticed no one has reconized who you are? Now that you know that try to tell me who you think you really are."

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Harle sat down, thinking whether or not to intrude into Lynx' meeting. If it was important, he'd be furious, and she knew he was with Serge. She decided to wait until he left the room to get to talk to him.

Serge nodded. "I am aware of that. I still say I'm Serge, and something happened and I should be home."

[Arni Village, Alternate World]

Kid backs away a bit, placing both of her hands on the top of her head. "Don't ya think that savin' Serge is more important right now, mate? Besides, it ain't a big deal to me if some bloke were to regonize me." she says, trying desperatley to get around this strange plan.

[Arni Village, Alternate World]

Leena nodded, giving up that plan. "I'll get my stuff then." she said, walking toward her house.

"Una, you've got to watch the boys. I'm heading to Termina like mom's been wanting me to."

"Noooo!" Una cried then walked glumly toward the pier.

Leena quickly packed up her element collection (an aqua beam, a cure, and 10 tablets), and some other stuff [a spare dress, mending kit, some money, and her make-up kit), then headed back to the pier after telling her mother where she was going.

"I'm ready." she told Kid.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Luccia gazed blankly at Pip for a long moment before finally hoisting herself to her feet and wandering over to the cage. "Okay, Pip, I vould like to perform some. . . simple expiriments on you, da?" She unlatched the cage, reaching a hand in to clutch the fluffy-thang by the scruff of its neck (gently, mind you). "Vould you be so kind as to kooperate dis time?" She meandered over to the table and sat the bit of fluff down upon it, smiling as best she could in its direction.

"Hey, Harle." Karsh says to the clown. "How are you?"

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"WET ME GO!" Pip shouts through his tiny mouth. He starts kicking his feet rapidly at Luccia, flailing his arms madly. "WET ME GO NOW!"

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Luccia did her best to keep her voice at appropriate levels; she had not been having a very good day. "You do not vant me to have to tranquelize you again, da? Den be a good Pip and dis vill be over in no time." She held him down as best she could, trying to dodge his little attacks.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"Umm..." the little Pip stops for a moment. "How about some wawm miwk?"

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"Varm milk?" Her eyebrows raise in surprise, but she just shrugs it off, picking up the odd creature once again and tucking it gently under her arm. "Alright den, kom along Pip, ve vill go to de kitchen." Luccia moves away from the table and towards the door, leaving and heading for the kitchen. "Now, after dis you vill be good, korrect?"

She opens the door to the kitchen, smiling at Orcha. "I am in need of some milk, ja?"

Harle looked at Karsh as if he were a savior. "SIR KARSH! I beg you, take me zumwhere interesting! I am zo bored..."

[Arni Village, Alternate World]

Kid watches Leena leave the pier and then return just a few minutes later. "Ain't ya overdoin' it a little?" she asks, observing the things she is bringing along. "Ah, the hell with it, let's go."

Kid walks toward the other end of the pier. "I'll be waitin' fer ya at the entrance to this village whenever yer done sayin' good-byes."

[Fossil Valley, Alternate World]

Draggy lays dormant in the egg, wishing to be hatched into the bright world.

"I'ww be good..." Pip says in a depressed little voice.

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"Err... Umm... Well, I just came from the mess hall, and it looks like a fight may be brewing, so you may want to watch that..."

Solt & Peppor:

"Hmm...?" Peppor says to himself. "Standing guard is so boring... hey, what's that?" He glances over at a large Dodo bird, guarding a nest that is doubtfully that of the bird.

"Fight?" Harle pauses. "On second zought, I vill go find monsieur Lynx!" Harle walks off with a slight smile on her face, resuming her long hunt.
