Kid catches up with Luccia and Guile, having climbed quickly to give Korcha the shortest view possible. She stands and stretches her arms. "Ya kiddin'? That was nothin'." she replies to Luccia with a smile, cutting an eye at Guile for a split second before giving him another 'hmph'. She places her left hand on Luccia's shoulder and says, "Ya can do it, I'm bloody sure of it. Just rest up fer a sec."

Solt & Peppor:

Ketchop would punch Magus once again, only to be foiled by the Max Defense spell.

Korcha would kick off from the ground and leap into the air, landing high on the peaks. He'd leap once again, going even higher, and look down upon the others. "Aren'tCHA ever gonna get here?"

Serge sat down and just looked at Magus. Aw, he would take care of it, right? "Who knows," Serge mumbled, "everyone seems to be out to get me these days." He sighed and stood, dusting his pants off and looked at Magus, waiting to see what to do next.

Magus looks over at Serge, "Come on, kid. This is your big chance, besides I can tell that there is real power within you. Get up and fight!"

He twirls and hits Peppor with his staff.

Kid shoots a slight glare upwards. "Show off." she replies childishly.

She turns to Luccia, "Ready to get movin' again?" she asks, proceeding to grab hold of the cliff again. "Ya ain't gonna wanna be stuck climbin' out here after nightfall, that's fer sure."

"OW!" shouts Peppor.

Serge grinned. "A power to be really annoying?" He shook his head, then looked at the massive Ketchop. He held his swallow to the side, then rushed forward and performed Dash and Slash.

Luccia just barely managed to hoist herself to her feet, dusting off her rump as she did so (derned white, showed off dust to its best advantage). She glared at the cliff wall, but set her jaw resolutely and began to climb again. She was already beginning to ache, but she'd gotten herself into this mess, and now she had to go along with it. Might as well make the best of everything.

Solt & Peppor:

Ketchop would fall back a bit at the slice, but it would do minimal damage. He'd rear back and let loose a mighty punch, but the Max Defense held strong.

Guile continues climbing without comment, his mind and concentration on other things.

Slash, the bald, blue-headed demon swordsman climbed along behind Guile, smiling. The demon was interested. He reached the top of the cliff and flipped up, unsheathing his sword and watching for danger...

Magus grins and wonders if the little animal can fight, then hits Peppor twice with his staff, tripping the dragoon.

"It does take some training to learn how to use it. You have those elements, though, don't you? Use them if you know how."

Serge paused to put Pip on the ground, then patted the small animal on the head. "Okay, Pippy, go fight the bad men. Remember, don't get hurt." Serge smiled and did an anime style face at the small animal, all too happy at Pip.

Suddenly, Magus, Serge, and Pip would glow green, and quickly fade. Pip would blink a few times when Ozzie would yell, "WATCH OUT! THE SPELL'S FADED!"

Solt & Peppor:

Suddenly, Ketchop picked up Peppor in one hand, and Solt in the other. Peppor was hurled high into the air, and Solt, used as a baseball bat by Ketchop, hit the stout dragoon straight into Pip. Pip would be knocked back, falling unconcious onto the ground.

Magus frowned. The game just got serious. "We'd better take out the big guy, Serge. Use something strong, like a fireball or something and I will follow it up."

Serge picked up Pip and managed to put the animal into a large pocket. He nodded at Magus, and got in a few slashes at Ketchop, then jumped back and used a fireball on him.

Immediately after Serge uses the fireball, Magus casts a shadowball, so that it hits right after the fireball.

Kid reaches the top of the bluffs and pats down her clothing quietly. "Well, that was a lot of bloody fun, eh mates?" She crouches carefully so as not to be noticed by any guards who may be positioned near the cliff itself. She watches everyone else eventually reach the top. "Think the other mates have had time to create their diversion at the front gate?" she wonders.

Korcha, however, was still standing on the middle platform. He looked straight up at Kid from below and tried to hide a smile. "Probably. Let's go... WAIT! WATCHA BACK!"

Suddenly, a triad of large bird-men would swoop down and attack our heroes.

Serge blinked. He wasn't sure when to stop so that the others at the bluffs could get in, but he couldn't mention it with dumb and dumber plus numb nuts in front of them. He whirled to Magus, then dashed behind a column to act as if he were running away. As soon as all sights were set on Magus, he dashed in and pulled a surprise attack.

Magus was impressed with Serge's tatics but he was getting impatient. Had those buffons on the cliffs made it yet? This fight was getting annoying and he couldn't pretend to be on their level for very much longer, he was running out of lower powered spells.

Ketchop pulled back his right arm and let loose a powerful punch toward Magus' head.

Magus, distracted by his thoughts takes the punch full to in the head, spinning him around like a top. When he stops there is blood on his lip and his eyes flare. "You shouldn't have done that..."
