"Wait," Marcy said. "Is this, like, the ghost boy?"

Karsh nodded.

"You're wanted, like, in the library!" Marcy says as she grabs Serge by the arm. "C'mon!"

Magus frowns. "NO, Ozzie we did that, too. In the past.."

Glenn is confused. "Karsh, do you need me to help you?"

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

Kid scowls. "'Ey! What's the big idea?!" she demands as she almost instinctively follows after Serge. She quickly turns to Riddel on her way out of the room, "If Lynx ain't in this place's library, ya can bet I'll come back here fer him in a few." she says as she runs off after them.

"Lynx?" Marcy asks. "No, somebody, like, else wants to talk to Serge!"

Ozzie shakes his head a bit and speaks soothingly to Magus, as though he was a father explaining something to his son, "Young Janus, you do not comprehend the vastness of this... Time has shifted... The world has changed... When Crono defeated Lavos, the future was restored. And, with a clean future, there was no reason for Crono to go back in time to stop Lavos, for though the gates opened, there was nothing wrong for him to change, and therefore Lavos destroyed the world, so Crono destroyed him... ect... Crono trapped us in a tempral paradox and we have come out of the loop from the Bend of Time... Lavos IS alive, and he has your sister."

Magus looks alarmed and suddenly comprehends. "You mean all of our work was in vain? Crono, Lucca, the rest of them working so hard to save thier future condemed it as well?" He narrows his eyes. Then I will destroy him here and now. Surely he can be no more pwoerful than he was in the future..."

Harle turns. "Oui, monsieur Ozzie? I am ze busy woman, please, hurry. I am looking for something quite magnafique, and my time cannot be wasted."

Serge jerks his arm out of Marcy's grasp with a snarl. "I don't need someone to help me walk, thank you." He turns to Kid and sighs. "I hate this, why can't we just FIND the cat boy, get this over with, and LEAVE! Oh, for the love of all that's holy, if only it were that EASY!"

"Even 'if' I believed ya, I'm still comin' along." Kid replies to Marcy. "No tellin' what you people'll do if ya get this confused fella all alone."

Miki trudged slowly back to Termina, boredom now holding her firm in its grasp. When was the show going on, anyway...?

Ducking through Termina's numerous alleyways, she made her way back onto the boat, looking for Nikki.

Glenn frowns. "Don't talk to Marcy that way! She's one of the Devas!"

[Termina, Alternate World]

Nikki, just returning from his brief jaunt in the Haunted Woods, slowly trudges back towards the boat. Though certain that his sister is in the Manor, he couldn't find hair or hide of her nor could he successfully get inside the place. Maybe he needs to try another route.

Lost in thought, he doesn't watch where he's going and so ends up walking directly into Miki.

Kid looks puzzled for a moment after having overheard Glenn's statement to Serge. "Ye-ah, right. You believe that, don't ya Serge?" she asks in a joking tone, a smile starts to creep across her face as she tries to hold it back just a little.

"THIS young lil' girl is one of those so-called Dragoon Devas. You must not think much of us, eh soldier boy?" she replies to Glenn as she begins to laugh.

"C'mon Serge, ya might as well follow 'em to their library. Ya can probably get some answers to yer questions there. Ya never know, right mate? I can always track down Lynx after everything's said 'n done in there. I doubt he's goin' to leave the Manor between now and then."

He burns with rage. "Are you calling me a liar, miss? Tell them, Karsh!"

[Viper Manor, Alternate World]

"I'm afraid that Glenn is right, Miss." Riddel speaks up quietly from her place by the desk as she turns her head to the blond girl. "Both Karsh and Marcy are Devas. It would hardly be wise to take her lightly."

As Nikki bumps into her, Miki stops, startled.

"Nikki!" she exclaims with relief. "When are we starting the show?"

Serge just shook his head. "All I wanted to do today was have some fun with Leena, and look where I ended up! I've never had a worse day in my life!" Serge hangs his head low and drags his feet along.

She pats Serge on the shoulder some more as they walk along. "Hang in there, mate. I'm sure yer gonna get at least one thing cleared up for ya from all this. Don't let it get ya down, that's the most important thing."

Kid grins some more, having taken control of her brief laughter spell, looking down at Marcy as she follows her along. "How much further till we get to this library room yer talkin' about, extremely chibi 'Deva' kid?"

"Oh, hey Miki." Blinking, he glances up at the dancer and smiles fainlty. "Yea. I guess we can start the show anytime now. Are you and the others all ready?"

"Yeah, I think so," she replies, glancing back at the cabin. Yu and Mi had been inside the last time she checked. "Let's start, so we can get this over with!" She runs inside to alert the others.

Serge turned to Marcy who seemed to be knowing where she was going. "What exactly is in this library that will help me out? I mean, we're going there for a good reason, right, not just because you want us to?"
